I salute youu Christopher Paolini [ & J.R. Toilkien].
Okay so I’ve been reading this series called the Inhertience Cycle since last year & let me tell you – it is the epitome of awesomness!
So it starts off with a young boy named Eragon who is 15 years old & was raised by his uncle cause’ his mum left him after his birth .. he’s lived there all his life & enjoys hunting & uses it as a means of feeding his family that includes his uncle & cousin Roran.
The story takes a turn when Eragon finds a beautiful ‘rock’ in the Spine – an infamous forest that is known for getting people lost where Eragon enjoys Hunting. He decides to sell it, but there are no buyers – & one day the ‘rock’ hatches & out comes a baby dragon that he names Saphira. He & this baby dragon from a special bond as soon as he touches her – making a slivery sign on his hand thus declaring him a Dragon Rider – unknown to him.
The story goes on how he & Saphira get along, how they are able to talk to each other through telepathy, & how they come across Brom, an ancient Rider who has been staying in Carvahall since the beggining & is known as the famous story teller.
Anyway its better to read the book than hear the entire story from me so here’s the covers for all 4 books [the last being unreleased] ;
Happy Reading! =P
